Family Day will be a ton of fun!
To make Family Day a safe experience for everyone we are selling a limited number of tickets. (If you were here in the snow dump last year you'd get it!)
Bring your friends and family out for fun on the zipline, climbing wall, gym time and more! There will be fire pits with self-serve hot dogs, s'mores and bannock. Many time slots have a sit down lunch offered as well.
We have had to add a registration system as last year we had over 800 people show up in 2 hours which created some safety and traffic concerns. This system is meant to keep participants, volunteers, staff and the surrounding community safe by managing how many people are on our site and accessing the surrounding road systems at a time. Thanks for your understanding.
You MUST pre-register each person who is coming, as there is limited space. We will be unable to admit anyone without a gate pass, and each person (regardless of age) REQUIRES a gate pass.
There are time slots to choose from and once you are registered you will get a confirmation email. You MUST go to Hartland Baptist Church (6599 Driftwood Rd) to pick up your gate passes for each person. You may arrive up to 30 minutes early to get your pass.
This event could very likely sell out, so please only buy tickets that you will use. To prevent any unreasonable "bulk" buying of tickets we have implemented a $2/person cost. We will offer your $2/person back once you arrive at camp. If you buy tickets for people who don't come, there is no offer of money back on "no shows".

Arrive at Hartland Baptist Church no more than 30 minutes ahead of your slot.
Drive out to NLBC with your gate pass for each person in your car.
Enjoy the many activities and delicious food with your friends and family!
10am to 1pm (no sit down lunch option; cooking over firepit still available)
10am to 1pm - includes 30 min sit down lunch in the dining hall offered
11am to 2pm - includes 30 min sit down lunch in the dining hall offered
12pm to 3pm - includes 30 min sit down lunch in the dining hall offered
1pm to 4pm - includes 30 min sit down lunch in the dining hall offered
2pm to 4:30pm - (no sit down lunch option; cooking over firepit still available)
3pm to 4:30pm - (no sit down lunch option; cooking over firepit still available)
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my dog?
We cannot accommodate pets at this event. Please leave your beloved furry family member at home.
Will there be food?
There will be hot dogs, bannock, and marshmallows at a few firepits around camp for self serve style food. Some time slots will have a 30 min sit down lunch of soup and buns in the dining hall provided at no additional cost.
There is limited space in the dining hall so we have set capacity accordingly.
Is this event snow or shine?
Yes! We will run this event whether it is a sunny or snowy day! Please dress appropriate for the weather!
But I live out by Ness Lake, do I have to drive into town?
We want to make sure that our neighbours who live west of the intersection of Chief Lake Rd & Foothills Blvd know that you do not have to drive to Hartland Baptist Church and then come back out. We will have gate passes set aside for those of you who:
1. Live west of the intersection of Chief Lake Rd. & Foothills Blvd.;
2. Register online; and
3. Email us to confirm #1 & 2 no later than Friday Feb 16th.
We will only have gate passes on site for these folks and passes are required for EACH person. There is no admittance without a pass.
