Kitchen Assistant

Reporting to the Kitchen Team Lead and the Food Services Manager, the Kitchen Assistant is responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of nutritious, FoodSafe meals to up to 200 guests. The Kitchen Assistant will work in shifts of up to 8 hours, but will be expected to participate in other activities and program items such as chapel and wide games. The Kitchen Assistant will be passionate about food service, and see him or herself progressing in the food-service industry. He or she will gain hours toward his or her Red Seal certification, and will be equipped with strong resume experience. 

 

To be considered for Kitchen Team, you will demonstrate a strong work ethic and an ability to follow directions well. You enjoy preparing food, and demonstrate a concern for safety. You are a positive influence on your peers, and you seek to grow in Christ as you maximize your time at NLBC.
