Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Head Work Crew Boss will act as a supervisor to both the other Work Crew Bosses, and to the work crew campers in each of the three Work Crew Sessions. He or she will assume responsibility for the skill development and performance of his assigned crews, and will make every attempt to build relationships with the campers attending the program. The Head Work Crew Boss will liaise between the Assistant Director and Facilities Manager to determine tasks to be completed. He or she will also perform all of the duties required of the Work Crew as a servant-leader, including dishes, groundskeeping and housekeeping.


The Head Work Crew Boss will possess remarkable patience, and a desire to make a difference. He or she will be willing to work long days, often consisting of long periods of physical labour. He or she will have a proven reliance on God for energy and wisdom, and a willingness to get his or her hands dirty. He or she will also hold at least two years of Bible school training, although a combination of experience and qualifications may be considered as an alternative.




This position is in effect from May 20 to August 31.
