Reporting to the Assistant Director and working closely with the Head Leading Team, the Head Leader will assume responsibility for the entire female Cabin Team, including the Assistant Head Leader. She will plan and implement the Summer Team Training week in late June in conjunction with the other members of the Head Leading team, and will provide support and mentorship to the women serving in Cabins. In addition, she will organize and oversee female small groups, cabin assignments, and the facilitation of daily Summer Team Bible studies. She will also act as an authority figure, providing support in the form of behaviour management and crisis intervention both to Cabin Team members, and to female campers. This position involves some interaction with parents. The Head Leader will also assume responsibility for all reporting, including abuse disclosure.

 

The Head Leader will possess exceptional clerical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. She will demonstrate exceptional command of a group, will have an aptitude for teaching, will work well as part of a team, and will possess a proven ability to handle conflict calmly and professionally. The Head Leader must have a minimum of two years of Bible School training, though a combination of skills and qualifications may be considered as an alternative.

 

 

 

This position is in effect from May 21 to August 31.
